Bruce Peacock is the Chief Business Officer of Ophthotech Corporation. He brings a wealth of business development and life sciences industry expertise to Ophthotech's management team with over 30 years of pharmaceutical and biotechnology experience. Prior to Ophthotech, Mr. Peacock was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Alba Therapeutics, The Little Clinic, Adolor Corporation and Orthovita, Inc. He has also held senior management positions at Cephalon, Inc. and Centocor, Inc. Mr. Peacock currently serves as a Venture Partner with SV Life Sciences Advisors, LLC. He has previously served as director of Alba Therapeutics, Adolor Corporation, Orthovita, Inc. and Cephalon.

In 2011, Mr. Peacock was honored with Pennsylvania Bio's Hubert J.P. Schoemaker Leadership Award. Named for Dr. Hubert J.P. Mr. Peacock holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Villanova University is a Certified Public Accountant.
